How can I place an order?
To place an order, simply get in touch with us via our contact form, email, or phone. We’ll walk you through the options, answer any questions, and confirm the details before your order is processed. You can also book a time to visit our display cabin in Auckland if you’d like to see the product in person first.
Do our cabins come fully assembled?
No, our cabins are supplied as flat-pack kits and are designed to be assembled on-site. Many of our customers choose to build them DIY-style, but you can also hire a local builder or handyman to help with installation. Assembly instructions are provided.
What is included in a standard Serenity Cabins kit?
Each kit includes everything you need to assemble the cabin: pre-cut solid wood panels, doors, windows and their hard wear—all made from premium, slow-grown European spruce.
What maintenance does the timber need?
Our cabins are made from untreated slow-grown spruce, which is a high-quality, natural wood. To keep your cabin looking great and protected from the elements, we recommend applying a wood stain or paint after assembly and reapplying every few years, depending on exposure and climate.
What kind of delivery times can I expect?
Delivery times vary depending on stock and shipping schedules. If the cabin is in stock locally, delivery can usually be arranged within 2–4 weeks. If we’re importing it for you, it may take a little longer—typically 18 weeks. We’ll give you an accurate timeframe when you place your order.
Are there any other costs we need to consider when building?
- Yes, depending on your site and how you plan to use the cabin, you may need to factor in:
- - Foundations (slabs, ground screws, piles etc)
- - An electrician, if you want power connected
- - Interior and exterior finishing (e.g. painting or staining, gutters and spouting)
- - Council consent, depending on size and use
