Serenity Cabins began with a simple idea: to offer high-quality, great-looking cabins that everyday New Zealanders could afford. Tired of overpriced or flimsy options on the market, we set out to build something better—solid wood cabins that are as durable as they are stylish, and easy to assemble.

Meet The Maker

Hi, I’m Seth Armstrong, the founder of Serenity Cabins.
Serenity Cabins started with a conversation with my dad, a life long builder. He was planning to build a holiday home and started pricing out materials—only to discover that, even with his trade experience, it was cheaper to import a solid wood kit-set cabin from Europe than to buy the timber here in New Zealand. That discovery sparked an idea, and the business was born.
Today, we import high-quality cabins made from slow-grown European spruce—a stronger, denser, and more durable timber than what’s commonly available locally. The result is a cabin that looks beautiful, stands the test of time, and is surprisingly affordable.I’m proud of what we offer and love showing people our display cabin in Auckland. Whether you’re after a studio, retreat or backyard office, I’d be happy to show you around and help you find the right fit.
